Stiff tongues and loose fingers: Before Colloquy is the story of the Clifden wireless station being rebuilt in a distant future. The people can now telepathically communicate over short distances and but have lost the use of their tongues and weakened their ears. Men and woman have been created by the people to work in the noisy station with only one technician and her assistant left nearby to tend to them.
